Welcome to Scalp-Concept® International – the Academy for Manual Headache Treatment and Self-Care. We combine practical training for healthcare professionals with effective treatment for people who suffer from migraine or from tension-type, stress-related or cycle-related headaches – including children and adolescents.
The method is based on targeted manual manipulation and mobilisation of the scalp and the adjacent soft tissue structures. The aim is to release local tension, improve body awareness and open the way to lasting relief – in our courses and in our practice.
Scalp-Concept® International is the Academy for Manual Headache Treatment and Self-Care. We train professionals who want to treat headaches and migraine with a clear manual concept – grounded in anatomy and differential diagnosis, practical in its techniques.
The method works with targeted manipulation and mobilisation of the scalp and the adjacent soft tissue structures. Graduates broaden their range with an approach that integrates well into existing physiotherapeutic, osteopathic or medical concepts.

A completed professional qualification or licence to practise in the respective field is required. Previous experience in manual therapy is helpful but not essential.
For doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists, naturopaths (Heilpraktiker) and occupational therapists: in the two-day Scalp-Master course we teach anatomy, differential diagnosis and the practical techniques of the method – ready to use in your practice straight away.
We also offer refresher courses and a self-care workshop for patients. Booking and materials are available via the member area.
Scalp-Master – two-day foundation course with certificate. Anatomy of the scalp, examinations, core techniques and case studies under supervision.
Scalp Refresher – one-day refresher for graduates: fine-tuning of the techniques, case discussions and exchange with colleagues.
