Practice

Whether migraine, tension-type headache, stress-related or cycle-related symptoms: many people find that medication alone is not enough. Scalp-Concept® focuses on the scalp and complements existing therapies with a clearly structured manual approach.
In our practice we take time for your medical history, a palpation examination and targeted techniques. You also receive advice on self-care in everyday life – so that the effect lasts beyond the session.
Even children and adolescents can suffer from severe headaches and migraine. The symptoms often go unrecognised for a long time or are only treated with medication. Gentle treatment according to Scalp-Concept® can bring noticeable relief here too – adapted to the child's age, without putting a strain on them and in close consultation with parents or guardians.
If your child has recurring headaches, you are welcome to make a first appointment. Together we will clarify whether the method is suitable and what the next steps could be.
Scalp-Concept® is a manual treatment approach for headaches and migraine. It centres on targeted manipulation and mobilisation of the scalp and the adjacent soft tissue structures. The aim is to release local tension, support circulation and body awareness, and break recurring pain cycles.
The method is particularly suitable for migraine, tension-type headache, stress-related and cycle-related symptoms – and can also be used gently with children and adolescents. It does not replace a medical examination, but often usefully complements existing therapies.
A session usually lasts 30 minutes. For acute headaches we try to keep an appointment free at short notice.
€ 65 per 30 minutes. Partial reimbursement by your health insurance fund or supplementary insurance may be possible, depending on your policy and a medical prescription. Please check this with your insurer in advance.
We can treat you even – and especially – if you are suffering from a headache right now. For acute symptoms we try to keep a short-notice appointment free. Treatments take place by appointment; a session usually lasts 30 minutes.
